It was another fabulous day in San Francisco last Sunday when Sister George and Sister Nieves came to visit the Paulinian SF BABES. Food was overflowing (thanks to everyone) and there was never a dull moment!

The reunion started at 2 pm with registration, refreshments and networking. At 4 pm, we gathered by the deck to take a group picture. Afterwards, we watched the video prepared by Chiqui Escareal '79, Nadine Niguidula '79 and Sunny Escareal '75 about St. Paul's centennial celebration.

At 4:30 pm, Sister George spoke about their trip and their plans to put up alumnae chapters in the US. Sister Nieves talked about the 100th celebration in 2004. Ampy Puckett (65) told everyone about the SPCM Globalink. Also on hand was California Senator Tom Torlakson who came to show support of the Paulinian spirit.

Around 5:00 pm, we passed the mic and asked each Paulinian to introduce herself by stating her name, her batch year and her most memorable Sister George moment or high school anecdote. It was hilarious. ;-)

One Paulinian and her friends were caught stomping their feet while climbing the stairs and were asked by Sister George to repeat what they did --- 10 times! After hearing all the stories, Sister George said "Naku, habit ko pala yun???"

Of course, there were also girls who had GOOD records. Or maybe, they were just smooth...or smart...sige na nga;-) We ended our program with a beautiful rendition of the Paulinian Hymn. Later, the Sisters collected our reunion update forms and donations.

Those who stayed till 8 pm were entertained by Audrey, Michelle and Cha-cha Cendana who sang "Tilibum", "Saan Ka Man Naroroon Sinta", "Ring, Christmas Bells" and "Dahil Sa'Yo" in a capella. Do I hear a fundraiser/concert brewing up? As Erika Miranda '75 said, "Did you hear Sister's George's voice? That was a not a request...that was a command!" 'Nay!

At 8 pm, Erika and I brought the Sisters to Hyde Street where they stayed for the rest of their trip with Ms. Elli Ward.

Thanks to all those who attended the reunion --- we had so much fun!

It was great to see you all and don't forget...sa uulitin...

Happy holidays!

We had a great time at the reunion. It turned out so well and I think Sr. George and Sr. Nieves had a rewarding day with us. The Cendaña sisters (who hosted the reunion) entertained us with their great voices in singing. I must say, I thought I was just going to stay for a little while but ended up staying until Sr. George and Sr. Nieves got tired from all of us. I admire them both, with so much traveling they have been doing, they manage to show no exhaustion at all considering their age. I will be sending some photos from the reunion soon. I just haven't loaded it up yet (hopefully in the next few days) so we can share with everyone. And also, their fundraising was successful for that day. It seems that everyone participated and was generous with their contributions.

Acknowledgments to all attendees from Batch 65,75,77,78,80 ( did I miss anyone?) and most of all the Hostess- Michelle Cendaña. I shall name everyone who attended when I have made the photo attachments.
